“There is nothing more relaxing than taking a bath in very hot water with a few drops of lavender oil and then applying this product on the face, the skin feels immediately rejuvenated,” wrote Catarina Mira on her namesake website this week. The product that is now part of her downtime ritual is Dr Jackson’s 05 Face And Eye Essence, a recent addition to her bathroom cabinet, and part of a change of lifestyle that not only involves the Portuguese blogger taking more care of what she puts into her body, but what she uses on it too.

Now based in London, Catarina attributes her move to her battle with dry and blemished skin. To try and counter the cold temperatures and pollution levels in the UK capital she has embarked on a quest to rid her beauty routine of products with questionable ingredients and replace them with brands known for their quality, and after discovering Dr Jackson’s she hasn’t looked back.

Jostling for space in her bathroom alongside the 05 Face And Eye Essence, and 01 Day Cream, is the 03 Everday Oil, a multipurpose product that can be used to condition the hair, cuticles and lips, and even the skin. “It has an incredible smell and leaves the skin glowing,” wrote Catarina.
