Luxury womenswear destination-boutique Figue leaves its East Hampton home for Miami, where it has a pop-up shop at the W Hotel.
When designer Stephanie Von Watzdorf launched her luxury fashion label Figue, she wanted the collections to reflect today’s yen for global travel. Her seasonless pieces are therefore designed with exotic destinations in mind, and reflect the spirit of her ‘gypsy-meets-jet-set’ muse.
Given this inherent wanderlust, it is perhaps not surprising that the brand itself has recently travelled from its East Hampton home to South Beach, Miami, where residents and fellow travellers alike can now indulge in Figue’s unique brand of bohemian luxury.
The Miami boutique popped up at the chic ocean-front W Hotel in November, and features clothing and accessories from the company’s Fall 2015 and Resort 2016 collections, as well as several pieces designed especially for the Miami customer.
Figue’s signatures, such as its vintage embellished military jackets, handmade leather sandals and handcrafted Tuk Tuk bags, are complemented by pieces perfect for that dreamy island vacation or evening cocktail party. And in addition to its own brand, the pop-up is also home to other artisanal items, including handcrafted jewelry by American designer CB Bronfman.
Figue will be in residence at the W Store in the W Hotel on Collins Avenue, Miami Beach until the end of April.
