Having your own customized sneakers used to be up there within the group of things only accessible to celebrities and top-tier fashion industry professionals. But now, thanks to the team behind MYSWEAR, who provide digital 3D customization solutions to the luxury sector, this personalization option is accessible to all. MYSWEAR, who is currently running a pop-up at Harrods, is the world's first truly customizable sneaker with over 60 luxurious combinations, realized with state of the art 3D modelling technology.
MYSWEAR's options span 15 styles in 80 materials including different colours, leathers, and exotic skins (python, ostrich and crocodile). Customers can also interact with a 3D model of their shoe through the use of a hologram to make sure they're happy with the design before they're created.
MYSWEAR is owned by RIPE Productions, a London-based technology company, providing digital 3D customization solution with focus on luxury sector. The brand features cult SWEAR unisex sneaker styles, which take their name from London's most iconic streets. RIPE is headed by Ben Demiri and co-founded by Jose Neves (Founder and CEO of Farfetch.com) and Gonzalo Cruz (former MD of Groupon Iberia).
As a big supporter of both personalization and luxury retail within the digital space, Carmen has also backed MYSWEAR. (Their detailed profile is included within our Portfolio section).
The MYSWEAR Sneaker Customization Pop-Up is on at Harrods, 87-135 Brompton Rd, London SW1X 7XL, until June 17. If you're not in London, you can also customize your own sneakers by MYSWEAR via Farfetch.com.
