Uncovering the identity of Venezuela through the character of its people, Identidad Venezuela: 1000 Rostros is a book with a collection of insights and stories gathered from 1,000 Venezuelans from all walks of life, which provide a unique commentary on the country’s culture, traditions and its evolution.
Put together by journalist and producer Gil Molina, now a partner of La Movida Films, a film and advertising production services company, the tome features thoughts and images from Venezuelan personalities and citizens that take the reader on a unique journey.
Famed salsa musician, celebrated for his enduring hit Llorarás which he recorded in 1975 with his group La Dimensión Latina, states in the book: "Venezuela es música, sabor, alegría. Somos un pueblo solidario, amistoso y con mucho swing." (Venezuela is music, flavor, joy. We are a people who stand in solidarity, friendly and with a lot of liveliness.)
