ABOUT GLASSWING INTERNATIONAL
Glasswing believes that every person has both the potential and the right to become the best version of themselves, despite the circumstances they are born into or the adversity they face.
With a mission to address the root causes and consequences of violence and poverty through education and health programs that empower youth, Glasswing mobilizes communities, while also strengthening public systems.
With the support of thousands of volunteers, Glasswing converts public schools into centers of community that provide children and youth with access to safe spaces, extra-curricular programs, positive relationships with caring adults, social and emotional skills development, and vocational opportunities.
Mental health has also been a core part of Glasswing's work for over 15 years. Through their SanaMente program, Glasswing trains frontline workers - including teachers, nurses, doctors, and community members - to recognize the signs, and manage the impacts of stress and trauma, both on themselves and on those they serve.
Glasswing works with all community actors and stakeholders to ensure sustainable change, while fostering hope and community pride.
Everything they do is based on a deep belief in human dignity, agency, and potential.
