Fashion ecommerce platform Lyst offers a personalized marketplace where users can create their own unique shopping experience.
Founded in 2010 by Chris Morton and Sebastjan Trepca, the London-based company provides customers with access to over 12,000 of the world’s leading design houses and online stores, and the ability to shop via a single check-out.
Lyst’s digital technology also enables its international customer base, which now extends to over 150 countries, to keep up to date with favourite brands and latest looks, and receive tailored sale and stock alerts.
ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Chris Morton
Chris earned his MA in Natural Sciences (Physics and Philosophy) from Cambridge University in 2003, and is a DERA Scholar. Prior to co-founding Lyst, he was Business Development Manager of the Energy and Materials division at QinetiQ, one of Europe's leading technology R&D organisations. He then became an investor at Balderton Capital and Benchmark Capital, one of Europe’s largest venture funds, focusing on consumer internet (ecommerce) music and games start-ups.
Sebastjan Trepca
Sebastjan studied Computer Science at the University of Ljubljana. Prior to co-founding Lyst, he was VP of Engineering at Noovo, a content sharing and discovery startup, Technical Lead at Social Expeditions, and founded the Python Community of Slovenia.
