ABOUT MILLI MYLK

Founded by Maacha Le Blanc out of a need to find a better milk alternative to give to her son who had a severe intolerance to dairy. When looking for an alternative milk to give him, Maacha felt frustrated by the cartons, which are loaded with oils, gums, fillers and junk. What she needed was a milk that tasted amazing so her kiddo actually wanted to drink it, and that she trusted enough to feed her family. When she couldn’t find a solution that measured up, she decided to innovate a new way.

Working with food scientists and Michelin chefs, she created the first and only freeze-dried, plant-based mylk that provides people with the best and easiest way to have fresh, delicious, and nutritious plant-based mylk in seconds. 

Using 100% organic ingredients, they prepare their mylks and then freeze-dry them. Their key innovation process, freeze-drying, (the removal of water and moisture) suspends the mylks at their peak freshness, flavor, and nutrition. The freeze-dried mylk is then gently milled into a fine ground mix, and with just water and a shake, is quickly transformed into fresh, creamy mylk. Because there are no chemicals or additives used in the process, what you end up with is a really tasty, clean mylk. Milli’s freeze-dried mylk mixes won’t spoil, they’re light and transportable (planet-friendly), and most importantly, there’s no compromising convenience, taste or quality.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Maacha Le Blanc – Co-Founder & CEO
Prior to founding milli mylk, Inc. Maacha spent 20 years in the financial industry in wealth management and private equity. She was a Founder and Managing Principal of Aeterna Capital, a growth private equity firm and took an active role with investments, bringing her entrepreneurial passion to strengthen and empower her investment companies’ visionary ideas into fundable, scalable, and profitable ventures.


Additionally, Maacha had an advisory practice where she provided guidance to young companies finding their stride and more established ones looking for step-function growth. She worked with companies to operationally (re)design their infrastructure to support their vision and accelerate growth. Maacha is a woman of color and is one of a very small number of women in the US to ever have raised over $1 million dollars in funding for her company. According to ProjectDiane, as of 2021, only 93 Black women and 58 Latinx women have ever raised over $1 million of investment. Maacha is passionate about improving the food industry for the better and increasing visibility, resources, funding, and access for female founders.
